Excellent selection. The food was great and authentic. Pricey but worth the visit.

Balaton was fantastic. Authentic Hungarian food cooked to perfection. The Paprikash, goulash and stuffed cabbage were incredible. Reminds me of grandma’s cooking. This is a family run business with a great atmosphere. Definitely going back. Fried flat bread a must. Remember to make reservations.

I used to work at and frequently eat the old Hof Brau Haus off E 55th, so I consider myself a fan of schnitzel. This was the best schnitzel, and the best potato pancakes, that I have ever eaten.

The food was amazing. The service was not good. Our check was lost so three tables that were sat after we got our appetizers had there dinners and we did not. We had some place to be and could not wait any longer. Things happen and I completely understand that. I waited tables for years. The way the waitress handled it was what was so off putting. She did say sorry, but did not offer to take a dessert off or anything. She honestly seemed annoyed that we were disappointed. We took our dinners and dessert to go. The food really was amazing even eaten in the car at the hockey rink. I was so excited to go there and saddened by the over all experience.
