L'estampilles - Baie-Saint-Paul

My review is based on only 3 parts: food, rooms and regis. Remember quality, not quantity. The food was impeccable. Nothing like I ever cost in my life. I was in many restaurants in Quebec and elsewhere, but, “La Bouche Des Goute” was amazing. The food was well dimensioned, not like the other Quebec meals. Yes, the prices are a bit steep, but you get the best of the best. I had the bread with cheese as an appetizer, the duck for the main, and the custard with ice cream for dessert. Nothing like that, I cried honestly because I never tasted anything better and I'm so sad that I went so early if I were you, I would stay forever. My mother had the lamb and that was great. The portion was huge. It was on a wooden board with extra vegetables. The atmosphere was very romantic, and let me not start with breakfast. FABULOUS. I had ham with a real maple syrup, porridges, eggs and some bread with some jam. Typically, I don't eat breakfast, but I loved this meal. So fill. Next, the room. It was spacious. Very clean, I have a river view and it was stunning. Even the bathroom had a river view, I almost kept the blinds open, it was so beautiful. The best was so comfortable. When I first saw it, I was skeptical, I thought: “How could this little cover keep me warm?” But my boy was wrong. I was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of bed. After all, Regis was a fabulous, host, cook and whole man. His smile lights up a room and as soon as you get to know him, he's so funny and if you need anything, he'd be right there and host you as well as he can. He's honest, friendly and funny. All the best qualities for the best host. PS. Do not look at the bad reviews, they are not worth your time, All bad reviews are due to their mistakes, but, their mistakes reflect on its reviews? I think they have to be more significant. Take care of yourself. Regis leads the place completely alone (not the few cleaners and the 1-2 employees count) give him a chance and be patient.

Everything was perfect! Regis the owner and cook was professional and his meals were excellent 10/10. The rooms were nice, clean and the beds were fabulous. I recommend L’Estampilles. You will love your stay!

We had the most wonderful meal here. Excellent service, excellent food. The best we’ve had in the Charlevoix and Quebec City. The restaurant has reopened after being closed last year because of Covid. Just a few minutes drive away from the crowds of the centre ville. We’re so glad we found it. Regis is an exceptional chef and host. Highly recommended!

Pendant notre séjour, nous avons apprécié la qualité des repas servis et surtout les viandes servies au dîner. En ce qui concerne les desserts, la crème catalane m'a particulièrement. Quant aux entrées, j'ai adoré la crème de pommes de terre fumée. La carte des vins pourrait être plus diversifiée, mais les prix sont très raisonnables. De plus, le leader est une personne colorée qui connaît et aime sa profession. De même, je tiens à souligner le professionnalisme d'Anne-Marie qui nous a servis pendant ce séjour agréable.
