So much I love pamana, I am always in a quandry to visit between the restaurant during my limited time in tagaytay. pamana or the Hawaiian bbq? therefore I was ecstatic when I found out that the mother ignacia filiale of pamana, is also the home of the original hawaiian bbq, where they can cross the order of either restaurant menu!
First ate in their branch in Tagaytay and recommended it to friends and family. Both branches come with it's sister restaurant, Pamana which also serves good food. You can enjoy food from both in one dining! Aside from their Original Hawaiian BBQ Ribs, we have also tried their Fried Calamari in black ink, Bagnet Pinakbet, and Seafood Medley. Their desserts are equally delish, try their Molten Lava Lava cake if you're up for something sweet!
The Original Hawaiian BBQ shares the same space along Mother Ignacia Street as the Filipino restaurant Pamana, and is right next to Vanilla Cupcake. I have been here a couple of times, and we always ordered the BBQ platter. If you simply want to stuff your face with a lot of food, there are dozens of other places in the metro that serve boodle feasts--grilled meats and seafood atop huge mounds of rice. Have hawaiian hunted in the last weeks. with my 5 year old stuffed to try it, as it is close to our place. the room is shared with pamana. the first thing they notice is the decoration. my daughter said this place looks like it wasn't far away. we decided to order the original hawaii Bar-B-Que menu, but they can order either menu if they crispy spam masubi 1/2 I love some spam masubi, so this is an automatic order of me. the swirl here is slightly baked and fried. pro: the brot gives him an additional dimension that they do not get in the rule of masubi, and frying it changes the taste profile of the nori. con: the plowing makes the rice oily. it serves as a...read more
