What was weird about the resto is that it is somewhat narrow, so the buffet spread is a long straight line, wherein the entrance divides the main dishes and the desserts at the other side. I had high expectations as it is a hotel, and we just went here as it had a discount of 50%. Food wise: food wasn't really good but it isn't that bad. The carving station which has roast beef and pork, they were just ayt, tender and not chewey. What I really loved was he pumpkin soup, creamy and perfect for cold nights ❤️! For the pasta, the sauce felt generic and I ordered spaghetti and ran out so gave the chef gave me penne :( . The sashimi was the best, it was fresh and the rice isnt mushy , however theres only tuna:( and I like salmon more. The tempura was just alright, nothing special at all. There was a chickent yakitori and a pork na parang liempo with no taba which is not special at all, it just tastes boring. As for the sisig which they have, it wasnt that good as it had no chicharon but it isnt salty which is a + point. I became a bit dissapointed as they didnt have steak or ribs which other people said they had before :(. That was a big downfall for them. As for dessert, it was goood, especially the chocolate cake which I ate 4 small slices of it, another one is the apple crumble which is good but not above excellent. Sadly, it was my first time to not eat ice cream coz bawal daw, (chinese medicine problems ugh). But my fam said they were good so... Overall, this buffet is one of the worst from what I have eaten. Food is not bad but compared to others, they would lose as they have minimal choices compared to other hotel buffets. Good thing we ate ot at a 50 off discount which made ot 800+ per person. Tbh, if it was for 1600+, I wouldnt bother coming back as it isnt worth. No pics, was too hungry eh :)

Watch out for another development at the north. It is brought to you by Ayala and they dubbed it Vertis North. Currently the mall is being constructed and is targeted to open by July this year. Seda, a hotel by the same group just opened here and this is the third one after Taguig and Nuvali branches. Misto is Seda's all day dining, cafe and bar all in one. It means mix, a fitting description since they have three types of concepts in one big, elegant space. On my recent dining experience here I was the lone customer. I felt bad no one else was feasting with me. The buffet is at Php 1650 nett and they offer ample choices of international favorites including a stretch of Filipino cuisine. Five types of juices including sour, sweet Cranberry juice are also offered unlimited. When I was here the carving was only Baby Back Ribs. So I requested to their Chef if I could have steak. He went to our table and offered to serve me USDA Rib Eye. It was heavenly. It was too tender, juicy and well seasoned. For desserts, you can make your own Halo Halo, take as much spoonful of various ice cream flavors, have different cake slices and if you are on a diet, they have a pool of fresh and sweet fruit selections as well. alwayshungry.ph
