Bocadillo - Bagnères-de-Bigorre

We tested a few restaurants in La Mongie for lunch during skiing, and the Bocadillo became our choice. Excellent burgers (try the Big Boca!, salads and plat du jour. Wine, Belgian beers. Efficient service.

We visited this place on our trip to Pic Du Midi. It is a beautiful place that gets plenty of sun from morning to evening. The service is also quite fast. We liked this place so much that we stopped for a coffee on the way back.

Brilliant find for a week in la mongie. Friendliest staff ever found in the French mountains. Excellent food and music. Perfect for a lazy afternoon when the mountain is too misty to ski! A must for a nightcap every night to.

This is a fantastic bar with very friendly staff, good drinks and good food. We were only in the resort for 3 nights but this became the must visit each night. A special mention to the simply stunningly beautiful waitress with the black hair ponytail who made the evenings parfait! We'll definitely be back next year. Mines a coca zero!

The staff was pleasant and friendly, but the Boccadillo could not offer Spanish tortilla or a Croque Monsiuer. We chose a ham and cheese sandwich. The bread was unusable as it was so hard and there was only ham and cheese in the terrible bread. We should have complained, but we were too polite. I left most of the bread, as it was just terrible. Very disappointing!!!!
