A great place maybe even an insider tip because you have a wonderful view of the Isar

We were here for our wedding anniversary and the table was nicely decorated. We were able to sit outdoors directly on the Isar and chose a starter, main course and dessert from the menu, including open wines. Everything tasted very good and the price was appropriate for the performance. Friendly, professional and fast service. We can recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back, perhaps next time to the gourmet restaurant in the same location.

A wonderful place to have an idyllic meal. The cooked dishes are a taste experience. A true miracle in the mouth. The prawns cooked in Pernod at the table and served translucent. A pleasure. The noodles are freshly made, brilliantly stuffed in an excellent sauce. The pork belly in this style serves a great enrichment. The tiramisu, different but excellent. When was the last time I had such a good zabaglione? Served at the table. Perfect . The wine was appropriately recommended and the service was friendly and accommodating. A successful Sunday. I hope that this restaurant stays in Bad Tölz for a long time. Such a beautiful place and such good food.

Das "Alte Fährhaus" gehörte zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurants in Bad Tölz.Vor einigen Tagen wagte ich es ohne Reservation nach einen freien Tisch zu fragen und wurde vom Chef des Hauses und dem langjährigen Kellner auf arrogante und äußerst unfreundliche Art abgewimmelt (der Ton macht die Musik).Dieses Lokal werde ich nie mehr betreten.Johanna Bechler

Erstklassiges Essen, große Portionen, romantisches Ambiente, freundliches Personal und ein Chef, der mit Herz und Seele dieses Restaurant führt. Wirklich empfehlenswert!
