Osteria del gallo - Bad Neustadt

The Osteria del Gallo is a small fine Italian restaurant. The pizzas and appetizers are great. The service was quick friendly but somewhat cool. So not so typical Italian. Nevertheless, you can recommend the restaurant. And we will come back

Super nice boss and best pizza in the place. Much better than the very well-known pizzeria next door. Always like it.

The food was very good, waiting time was normal, child-friendly, waiter was friendly and very well advised. Ladies' toilet was unfortunately broken the sink (it can still be used) and soap dispenser on the wall is very shaky attached. That's why only four stars.

Great place. Went around 3pm on a Saturday. The food was excellent and well seasoned. You do wait a little longer for your order compared to other places but everything is being made fresh. Therefore I’d rather wait for quality rather than be given something quickly with no taste. Also, the waiter was very nice and assertive.

We had the mushroom soup wich was too creamy for my taste, a delicious cheese pizza and gnocchi with gorgonzola, spinach and walnuts. The gnocchi were too doughy and the sauce too creamy as well. Hudge portions though, I guess we didn't order the right dishes for us. So overall, good service and ok food. A little bland too.
