Hong Lan - Bad Essen

As part of our holiday, we are also reserved in this restaurant. It is contrary to expect, even not Asian furnished,but very modern and also has a large beer garden. Part in the courtyard and partly out front. Two young girls were in service. We were kindly received and also served very nicely. There was red earth in this locator. It is a small private brewery and the beer is unfortunately not to be bought in the supermarket or beverage market. Of course we ordered it. It costs 0.3 L, 3.00 Euro. Very nasty. To the appetizer we chose the homemade shrimp rolls with sweet piquant dip, to 8.00 euros. There are 8 pieces and with this dip, which had a slight sharpness in the finish, a poem. Männe tasted it so good that he took the shrimp as a dessert again. To the main dish, males chose the duck to 19,50 euros. He chose the slightly sharp peanut Thai sauce for duck. The dish was served with scented rice and vegetables. He was very done and would order it at any time. The bill says Thai Curry Sauce, but it was the peanut sauce. You tasted the peanut well. I chose Beef Saigon, at 15,90 Euro. This is bovine sprinkled Vietnamese species, marinated in chili and lemongrass. Add fried vegetables and scented rice. Also very tasty. The vegetables still crunchy and the meat not too sharp,but pleasant. Since Asian cuisine is not so killing, there was also a dessert. As mentioned, males took the shrimps once. On the other hand, I was curious about the fried sesameballs with the Sesameis, at 4.50 euros. It was different than the usual baked banana. The sesameballs, mocked inside to coconut and sesameis, was unusual. Wasn't bad now,but next time I prefer the baked banana. When I studied the drink card, the self-made ginger lemonade fell into my eye. I then ordered them to 4,20 euros. It was wonderfully refreshing and with ginger slices on top. Conclusion : also there we will return on the next holiday. Nice, young team and good food. We felt comfortable.

It is a warm restaurant. The family members all work in this restaurant to bring visitors nice lunch and dinner. They are very funny and friendly. Their table are clean and their foods are so delicious with the authentic taste of Vietnamese food.

Good oriental restaurant. You can choose between good price meal "a la carte" and 14,50 euro "eat as much as you want". Various position in the menu, especially from vietnameese kitchen.

We had a delightful evening. Very nice service. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Thai curry.

I had the m13 nice curry. the curry was very tasty, but the part was a little small. because it was quite cheap, the price-performance ratio is still okay. what I also liked is that they can sit outside, eat in the beautiful old city bath.
