The Old Port Family Dining - Bad Axe

As always, the food was great. They were quite busy, so it took a bit longer to receive our meals, but it was worth the wait. Our waitress did her best under the circumstances, and I have no complaints about this place overall.

The location has a challenging history, as several restaurants have failed in this building. However, Old Port has made significant improvements since its opening. The food has gotten better in taste, though I personally wish it had a bit more seasoning. The staff is always delightful and enhances your dining experience. In the past, we encountered some issues with the food, but that seems to rely heavily on the chef. Overall, it’s a lovely place to eat—much better than the local Peppermill. The owner is fantastic and ensures that you have a wonderful experience.

I’ve never had any issues dining here. The food is always excellent and you definitely get your money's worth. They have the best fried mushrooms! We try something new every time we visit, and the staff is always friendly.
