Babinda Independent Bakery

Absolutely worth the very short drive off the main highway into Babinda to stand in the busy queue of obviously long term customers. We have it noted for our next drive by .. Brought back memories of school little Big lunches many years ago.

Yummy chicken, cheese and chive pie with a real ice coffee was delicious then a cream bun just as they should be made. Took home two rainbow cakes for the kids that were eaten before the day was done. Well worth the drive from Cairns. Great service, value and food. Recommend 100% thanks Babinda Bakery we’ll be back.

I have visited Cairns 3 times in the last year. Each time, l have visited Babinda bakery. I simply love the pies not to mention the yummy cream buns. The pies are 10 out of 10! It's worth the drive each time l holiday in Cairns. The staff are so nice. Annette is lovely. This will be my regular visit each time l holiday. See you again. Cheers....... Jenny

What beautiful bakery all the food in this bakery is sooo nice best bakery we have ever been in and we have been into a few. Staff are lovely and Polite . Highly recommended to all thankyou .

Sensational food! We brought $40 worth and got heaps! We couldn't wait to eat everything! Bread was so soft and delicious. Friendly young man served us. He forgot to put the choc mud cake in my order but that just means next time we're up that way it will give me something else to try. Will certainly be stopping in on any trips north we ever do.
