Stopped at Clove on my way through Ayr and got my self a pepperoni woodfired pizza, the food was fantastic and the staff were cheerful and polite. 5/5 will stop here again
I came here a few months ago for pizza, being the only place in town that did proper woodfire pizzas. I would have to say it was one the best I ever had.I was with friends a few nights ago, we decided on pizza and remembered Clove and how good the pizza was the last time, we rang to order and a soft spoken Indian man that had terrible English answered the phone. After establishing that we wanted pizza, which was already quite a struggle, we tried to order two ham and pineapples, and a meatlovers. The Indian man said the first two were fine to order, but the man managed to tell me through broken English that they didn't have a meatlovers pizza on the menu, and instead offered a chicken pizza and I said that's fine (at this point I wasn't about to try and keep talking to him, he barely spoke English). Now when I went in they did have a meatlovers pizza on the menu, just called something else, and any Australian would have known what I was talking about.I went in to collect to pizzas and what we got was a Ham and Pineapple not cooked properly. One Ham and Cheese, with barely anything on it and a Meatball pizza, also not cooked properly and quite literally nothing on it but a single meatball on each slice.Absolutely ridiculous, and trying to charge $18 a pizza for that ****. Horrible service due to the language barrier. Please learn some English before you try to do business in an English speaking country, and please learn not to serve **** before you decide to run a restaurant.
Absolutely disgusting for every aspect..from the service to the food..we ordered 2 pizzas..the second came only well after we finished the first..pizza was uncooked and chewy..full of stinky cheese and super expensive..it was so disgusting we couldn't eat it, ask for a box to take away and we had to pay for it..the new management is runned by Indians..they were unpolite and never smiling..Please don't ware your time and money..don't go there!
Delightful staff, very helpful with a special request for a menu variation. Delicious fresh food and tea options: pot, cup
