Spicer's bakery is a long term favourite of great baked goods and amazing donuts. Everytime we are in town we stop.
The size and quality of this family business have significantly decreased since Dave sold it. The cookies are now much smaller, with the sugar cookies lacking flavor and sweetness. They are not as delicious or satisfying as they used to be.
I always enjoy dining at Spicer's. I particularly value the staff's expertise in responding to questions about health.
Great stuff, but be prepared to pay, their prices are extremely high, especially for pies, maybe they wouldn't have so many leftover if they were more reasonably priced.
