This pub has excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. It is a historic pub that is definitely worth a visit. The steak and ale pie is to die for, and the bacon chicken salad with brie is also delicious. Overall, the food was very well-prepared and satisfying.
The meal at this restaurant was excellent, particularly the steak burger and homemade pizza. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. This was my third visit and I would definitely go back again.

The buffet was tasty and quite varied however when booking we forgot to mention allergies and some of our party could not eat it.
