I had not used this store in all honesty for a while, I normally pop into the Leighton Buzzard one which is not as big. As I was doing my shopping doing my best to social DISTANCE a member of staff came right up next to me and started banging the sink bowls around which were untidy. He did not appear too happy about this which is fair enough. But when on travelling around the store I came upon the reduced section, TRIED to get a look in here, only to find the SPACE being hogged by a rather shall we say Large lady, so not much SPACE for the rest of us to get a LOOK in . Tried the SELF SERVICE tills which were ok until SOMETHING had to be weighed and then even after the assistant helped the till Kept going HAYWIRE, only due to weighing an item. All in all I actually prefer the L/B store to this one as in my opinion its a much simpler and easier experience of shopping at Morrisons.
I was put off from visiting the cafe after seeing the condition of the carpark and surrounding area. The bushes and plants are overrun with garbage and debris, which is unacceptable. It definitely doesn't entice you to dine there.
Absolutely pathetic , asked for chocolate cake , staff member told me they didn’t have any , he took me where they should be , I found it and showed it to him. He didn’t tell me that there was a refrigerated section that does cakes too. Very unhelpful. Looked very uninterested. If he didn’t know he should have said and I would kept looking. Absolutely pathetic
The food was decent and the prices were reasonable, but the service was lacking. My wife requested the allergy menu for our sons with dairy allergies and was given a blank piece of paper. The staff seemed uninformed about allergen protocols, as the cook mentioned they would be using the same pan for dairy-free items. It took a while to resolve this issue, with my wife feeling like a burden. Additionally, when she asked to swap her chips for sweet potato chips, the staff seemed unsure of how to accommodate the request. Overall, the lack of proper training and customer service skills from the staff was disappointing.
