They exceeded again, been an advocate of the pub for ages and they have gone through some troubled times with a lot of change in staff and management , we went in for Sunday lunch today and despite having a christening party and a number of other tables booked, our food came out quickly and they only had 1 chef) and was perfect , the turkey roast was to die for, my son said the ultimate burger was the best he has had and the bbq cauliflower wing salad was amazing huge compliments to the chef . The new gm and assistant manager are brilliant dead set on getting things back on track and don’t take any rubbish one customer complaining as he does weekly for free food , was shot down straight away especially having sworn at staff). The gm and assistant manager were also suited and booted for the christening party and they looked amazing. Thank you for a perfect Sunday lunch , we will 100% be back and can’t thank you enough

Thankfully have just found out that a new manager is on the way.... just enjoyed a cowboy burger and pie and chips roll on September

Was very disappointed as all the team that had pushed to make the Bee a local pub again have gone. I found it very upsetting and many other customers feel the same.

Mumsie, wifey I had a table reserved on a Saturday night. We turned up 5 minutes early. Had difficulty in getting anyone to serve us and were told to sit at a certain table but could sit anywhere if we wanted but we’re also told there was a 40 minute wait for food as a table of 14 had come in before us. If we’d have been there 5 minutes sooner we’d have gotten served before them ! With experience of this restaurant 40 minutes can be 2 hours plus without them even starting your order ! We left and had a delicious meal at The Bugle Horn instead

I booked a table but when there told go and sit any where and we did not have to book so why does it say on line to book a table??? We found a table BUT when I went to sit down one of the chairs had a big black stain on it, it should of been removed or cleaned. Had to go to bar to order and pay then had a really long wait for food to arrive yet hardly any people there. Meal came more then piping hot and so hot could not pick up the jug of gravy. The pie was so hard on the top I could NOT cut it and just scooped out the insides of it. Went back to bar to order desert but was told NO DESSERTS. Oh so disappointed and still did not understand the reason why. Dont think we will ever return, was a shame for us as we were so looking forward to a nice meal AND dessert
