Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience. The waitresses provided excellent service despite being busy, serving everyone with a friendly and efficient manner. The food, including both the main dishes and desserts, was perfect. The restaurant was very clean and we discovered that it was family-owned upon paying, which explained the attention to detail. We will definitely be returning to this lovely restaurant. Congratulations on all your hard work.

I always pop over to Darlingtons to have something to eat when I happen to be at Heart of the Shires. Even though I do not eat meat, the menu has plenty of options to choose from and you won’t believe this but because the...team got to know me quite well, they always adapt their menu and make me my ‘special sandwich’. So it goes without saying that the customer service is absolutely impeccable. I always recommend it to my friends and family as I know that if they go to Darlingtons they will be very well looked after. The portions are also very filling so make sure you are hungry when you go in! The deserts are very nice as well, especially their chocolate cake and carrot cake. I’ve often been there as part of a big group as well and they have always managed it incredibly well. Thank you so much for your very caring team and for such a lovely environment where we can enjoy a very tasty meal.

Disappointing visit to this cafe this morning. Very poor selection of food for brunch for those of us who don’t eat meat! Even as a meat eater it was on the expensive side for a bacon sandwich served with crisps and a tiny salad.

My wife and I recently visited the Heart of the Shires shopping outlet, and despite not being a fan of shopping, I found the experience enjoyable. We decided to have lunch at Darlingtons Tea Room, where we were pleasantly surprised by the good value and excellent service. The tea room was well managed and we had a lovely dining experience.

We regularly visit here and have done for many, many years. The food is always superb and I'd recommend you give this a try where you'll find that Ian and his team really will ensure you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and incredibly tasty food ...
