Motor City Coney - Avondale

We were twice last week. The food quality, taste, freshness are all ingenious. The dogs have a crispy when you bite it. The Chicago dog is great with a good quality pickle. The cones are great! The chili is good and not too sharp. You have Faygo Root beer!! They were very friendly and helpful on our first trip. And explain what was all on the menu. Attention, you pay for good quality. There were three of us and we spent well over $30 for lunch today. And almost 50 for 4 of us for dinner this week.

Good place for great tasting old school chili dogs. Great tasting onion rings. Just don't make the same mistake I made and make you hot dog with the Blown Engine Carolina Reaper hot sauce they have LOL. I thought I was brave. I burned about 15 minutes, but unlike all this was a good tasting. Definitely return to try the Rueben.

Great place! And the guy who heard it is one of a kind!! When Michigan was great to get a Koegel hot dog here in Arizona, and the Faygo! I didn't have that since I was a kid! The food is great, but the hospitality is what really has! From the second we went to the door we were great by such a friendly guy! We have heard that the owner asks some policemen if everything was good, they need water for the road. What a great guy!! Then he offered to purify himself and led my daughter behind the counter where he gave her some treats (with our permission of course) if I could give this place 10 stars I would!! A must try!!!

I have the Coney Island Dog and Chili Cheese Pommes, it was delicious! The staff was very friendly, definitely a place where I would bring my friends and family. Dining room was very clean and has many cool things to see while you eat.

What a cooooooool place to get true Chicago and detroit style dogs and burgers. New place. Great owner from Detroit. Great staff and great great family affordable food. A must try when you are in north west phx.
