El Pollo Loco - Avondale

Great service, but they don't sell my favorite order from Taquitos?? all other items are good and fresh. Love their chicken dishes and drinks selection.

I wanted to pick up two taco salads and a chipotle burrito and everything came out of tasting well and I have all the extra sauces I asked. This is one of the better Pollo Locos I had.

I entered the restaurant with coupons in hand, hoping to avoid any confusion with my order like I had in the past when using coupons or the drive-thru. I ordered the family meal and showed the cashier my coupon for a free tostada. However, when she gave me the total, she had charged me for the tostada. I asked her to fix the mistake before swiping my card, but she still charged me for it. When I asked the young man at the register for help, he said he couldn't fix it. I waited for 15 minutes for a manager to help me reverse the charge, but it still doesn't show on my account. I will now have to dispute this with my bank. To make matters worse, the rude young male cashier gave my to-go order to another family who mistakenly took it to their table before realizing it wasn't theirs. The cashier then tried to give me the same food, which was unacceptable. The staff seemed horribly untrained and I was extremely disappointed that I spent $40 for a meal that was nothing like what I had ordered. What should have been a 15-minute trip ended up taking almost 45 minutes due to the mistakes and confusion.

This place always has the best food. I recommend the Burritos. The chicken has this amazing season you want to go for more.
