Taki's Greek Kitchen - Avon Lake

If you are looking for a treat of authentic and REALLY GOOD Greek cuisine Taki is where you need to go. Our server who thought it was a day ahead - a day closer to a day away was super attentive, polite and gave great recommendations. From the shrimp speciality on Wwdnesdays to the Octopus and the chicken main square and lamb meatballs were all tastefully decorated and tasty. The drinks were cheap and well mixed. In any case, a place to go once and then go again often.

Authentic Greek cuisine in Avon Lake. The terrace was sure nice?t felt like you were in a plaza. Thé Restaurant was nicely decorated and had ambience. The food was good, we had the ground feta trio and also loved the olives feta served with their breads. Octopus? was enjoyed by one of us and they said it was very fleshy and tasty. I had the Arugula salad that it was huge and had many nice ingredients. Drinking was good, we tried the Greek beer yum! Service was excellent although they were busy!

I had a wonderful dining experience with great food and excellent service! My husband and I shared the pork chop dinner, which came with a salad (the set includes two pieces). They also served complimentary house-made hummus with pita, which was very tasty.

I really enjoyed my lambburger, and the eggplant on the side was delicious. However, my wife's chicken was quite bland and very dry. On the positive side, her Greek fries were exceptional. The Mythos beer was nice and cold, which was refreshing. Unfortunately, it was quite hot in the restaurant, making for an uncomfortable experience. On the bright side, our waitress was fantastic and the service was excellent.

This small, unpretentious restaurant tucked away at the end of a strip mall certainly exceeded my expectations. It serves the best lemon chicken (avgolemono) soup I've ever tasted. The calamari appetizer was also fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu.
