I had a fantastic coffee experience at this cozy, family-owned coffee shop! It’s far superior to the big-chain options. Even Constellation Energy made a stop here! Dave, any chance we could get an apple pie flavored coffee for fall? Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

I won't let my comments continue to be deleted. As a former employee, I can say that Dave, the owner, is one of the most egotistical and unpleasant people I've ever encountered. Not a day went by without feeling humiliated from being yelled at in front of customers or having to comfort other employees who were subjected to his condescending and miserable attitude. He created a stressful work environment, constantly complaining about everything. When he wasn't complaining, he would drone on about himself. Although he worked mainly with teenage girls, he often behaved inappropriately. He would gossip about employees to each other and even speak poorly about his customers. My breaking point came when I overheard him cursing at me behind my back, using derogatory terms. I was a dedicated employee who deserved to be treated with respect. I never expected to see a grown man belittle young women just to boost his own ego. This isn't a revenge post, nor do I want to perpetuate negativity; I just want to warn future employees and customers. He should count himself lucky to have such a wonderful staff, and while the coffee is quite delicious, it’s not worth being treated poorly. Overall atmosphere: 1/5.

My breaking point came when I overheard him referring to me derogatorily behind my back. I was a dedicated employee and deserved to be treated with respect. It was disheartening to witness a grown man undermine young women to boost his own ego. This isn’t a post for revenge nor do I wish to perpetuate negativity; rather, it’s a warning for potential future employees and customers. He should feel fortunate to have such a wonderful staff working for him, and while the coffee is quite tasty, it isn’t worth being treated poorly.
