Jake's On The Lake - Avon Lake

All American restaurant on the lake! Had fried shrimp for lunch and also the potato skins which were both exceptional! The staff was courteous and really helpful with the kids (we had 4). Wil definitely visit here again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

The highlight was undoubtedly the food, which earned a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Blackened Walleye and the Jr Lake Erie Perch paired with hand-cut fries—both dishes were exceptional! On the other hand, the service left a lot to be desired, receiving only a rating of 2. While the ambiance of the restaurant was charming and lively, creating a wonderful atmosphere (5/5), the service was not as attentive or prompt as one would hope for. Overall, the delicious food and great atmosphere make it a worthwhile visit, but be prepared for some shortcomings in service.
