The North House - Avon

I came here on a Friday night with my husband to enjoy a happy hour and then dinner. We have about 5pm there and were able to easily get parking in the lot. We could get two seats at the bar, but the person is it a popular place for happy hour! The specialties on the menu are great, especially the drinks. There were funny cocktails and then many beers up and some house wine. For dinner we could sit near a fireplace in a rustic room, very funny decoration. Our waitress Matt was amazing and so friendly and often followed us. The food options were good, much to choose and something for everyone. I have the duck and my husband has the short ribs. It's delicious. My only criticism is that the ducks generally do not have a lot of vegetables, especially meat and a carb. I definitely recommend a stop!

The place is really good. The appetizers are great. Everyone should try the crabcakes and Ricotta appetizers are good. The cocktail I got was decent. I personally think the main course selection is ok (but was delicious) for me because I only eat chicken and fish. Overall, it is really nice place to hang out and feels comfortable.

We had a great night in the North House! The building is so interesting and unique. The cocktails and the food were delicious. The service was great. We will be absolutely back and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Beautiful building! The food was very very good, we were in the banquet hall area with beautiful high ceilings and nice ambiance. Overall nice way to spend our valentine's night. We will be back to sit in the pub area on a different night, it looked so warm and cozy in there.
