Sabor Mazatlan - Avon

So good! We both had combo platters and were impressed with both the quality and the portion size. The service was quick and waitress super friendly. Definitely got an authentic vibe from the food. Get guac as a side, you won’t be disappointed.

Good food. Mostly seafood dishes. Unusual unique seafood dishes, and traditional Mexican like burrito and tacos. Huge dishes. I had carnitas burrito and couldn't finish it. But delicious. Casual atmosphere. I recommend trying this place. Huge house margaritas. And pitchers too. Free chips, salsa, queso and tuna with pico de Gallo. Good with chips!

We came for margaritas. They don’t have a happy hour. The margaritas are pretty solid. A tad on the acidic side. They do bring out free chips and queso with salsa which was a shocker. Definitely liked that. Who doesn’t like queso?

I’ve been driving by this place for years and finally went in for dinner. This is now my going to be my go to Mexican place in the valley! We tried several dishes and all surpassed all expectation. Service was great, the Kelly margarita pitchers were spot on and the menu is HUGE!! In all of Denver I only found one place with good molcajetes. Sabor Mazatlan matched my favorite place. You can’t go wrong at here.
