Ricky's Pancake House - Avon

It's an average establishment. During my last visit (I believe on June 9, 2023), we decided to leave after sitting down for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or saying, "We'll be with you shortly." Meanwhile, a group of five arrived after us, sat down, and received assistance within about 3-4 minutes. That was the tipping point for me, and I chose to leave. The food I've had there is decent, but the service needs significant improvement. Good service is very important to me, and when a business reaches a point where they seem indifferent to their customers, it suggests they may be more focused on profit than people. Unfortunately, this place will no longer be on my list. Best of luck to everyone!

The food took a while to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded, so that wasn’t the issue. It was simply slow. Additionally, I found the prices to be somewhat high. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Fantastic spot for breakfast! They offer four different varieties of eggs Benedict. The country fried steak and eggs tasted homemade and were delicious. The service was excellent! Food rating: 5/5.

I'm sorry to say that this restaurant has unfortunately declined. I never received syrup and had to go get it myself at the end of the meal. My food was mediocre, and my friend wasn't a fan of the biscuits and gravy. An older lady made a point of clattering the dishes very loudly while cleaning up. I also found the presence of Fox News on the TV quite off-putting. Overall, I would rate the food a 3/5.

The Beef Philly was primarily made up of fat and gristle, reflecting low-quality meat. I couldn’t manage more than three bites before deciding to stop eating it. The server didn’t bother to check in on me, even after the busser took my entire sandwich. I ended up paying $40 for a disappointing meal. On a positive note, the fries were good.
