Donatos Pizza - Avon

I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza, expecting it to be topped edge to edge with pepperoni, but I was disappointed to find it was only half covered. I’ve lived in Columbus for 33 years and have always enjoyed their pizza, so this was a letdown. It seems like Avon doesn’t prioritize quality.

I have a story about Larry, the general manager, that’s worth sharing. When I was 18 and working there, I got caught drinking on the job. The only reason he didn’t call the police was that he was busy stealing from the safe himself. Instead, he just fired me. It took me nearly a decade to figure out what was really going on. I don’t really mind now; it’s just a funny story in hindsight.

The pizza we ordered from Red Robin had Donato's name on it, but we've had the original Donato's from Parma and Lakewood many times, and I have to say, this pizza was absolutely terrible. It tasted nothing like what a Donato's pizza is supposed to taste like; whatever version Red Robin is using is doing a disservice to the original. We ended up throwing both pizzas in the trash because they tasted so bad – we've never had to throw away a pizza before. That was the worst $25 I've ever spent.

Red Robin makes it. It's decent pizza. The sauce is more sweet than savory which is not my preference. I probably wouldn't get it again but I see why people would like it.

Completely horrible, ordered 2 large pepperoni and was told they don't make breadsticks AT ALL. And very limited to what u can order, to top it off i couldn't understand the person i was ordering from × too bad i loved donatos, one more customer gonefor good-get it together people!
