The Chippy - Aviemore

The Chippy is located at the north end of the village on the road to Dalfaber, with ample parking, though was just a minute walk from where we were...

They can't get your order right there's always items missing... I have now barred myself from eating their food, which quality wise is a hit or miss. Thanks again for ripping me off!!!!!

The staff were just rude, really. Like many others we merely asked to collect at a certain time as we had foor orders elsewhere too. Got essentially shouted at saying we are too busy to prepare for a certain time....OK, so how long does it...take then? grunted back so I said I would be back in to order. Came back later to order....and watched. The fish was ready in and sat in the hot plate thing for a further whilst I stood outside waiting g for pizza from next door. A further mins later they called the buzzer and we got the food . When home, the fish had dried out from being sat so long and the chips were very poor. Felt like they were industrially produced pap and over cooked. There are better chippies than this......really not very good at all.

Stayed in aviemore for nights ate at this place times. Tbh I didn't know there was another chippy down the road. It wasn't bad! It wasn't great ether. Coming from west lothian I was surprised at how expensive this place was. Locals mustn't...eat out too often. The kebabs are small, chips are ok. It's just expensive for what you're getting.

Maybe a wee bit more expensive here than other chip shops but well worth it for the quality. No soggy batter here. Never been disappointed. Only ever tried the fish n chips so can't comment on other menu items.
