The steak pie and chips were excellent! The chips had a nice crunchy texture, and the steak pie was packed with a generous amount of steak. For £8.50, the meal also included a small pot of fantastic gravy. My friend ordered the fish and said it was very tasty, along with the tartare sauce. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

Decent chippy, is what you’re wanting after doing a big trek up a munro, a little on the expensive side but so is everything these days. Staff were incredibly polite and cheerful. The fish supper couldn’t be faulted. Only annoying thing is sauces are charged at 50p a packet. All in all a good chippy and would recommend.

I had a wonderful haddock supper this evening. The haddock was fresh and cooked to perfection in a batter that was crispy but still moist. The chips were great quality and a good size portion, well worth the money. The optional lemon wedge and tartare sauce is always a nice touch. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend Smiffy’s, I have been returning when on holiday for many years and will continue to do so.

One of the best fish and chips I've ever had! The fish was wonderfully flaky when I cut into the batter, and the chips were thick and delicious. The portion size was generous and very satisfying. However, it would have been nice to have ketchup or mayo available without an extra charge. They offered sachets for 50p, but I prefer having condiments on the table while dining in. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated the complimentary water and cups. It was lunchtime and quite busy.
