After touring the (small) historical area of Aveiro we stopped for a coffee at Cantinho do Bacal Thau- very enjoyable and welcome after such a hot day.

Ordered the codfish in rice with peppers. Quickly delivered by the friendly waitress. Lovely sauce very hot and fresh food. Really good taste and only 11.5 euro...

Spine in the cod, 30 minutes to take the order with an hour and half to get serve, the waitress bring us plates not for our table, avoid it !
