Coney Island West - AVALON

TOO EXPENSIVE!!! First off, the pricing is NOT between $10.00 and $20.00. We paid over $50.00 for two orders of fish and chips, onion rings, a beer and water. The fish and the onion rings were great!!!! The “chips” which were just skinny french fires were cold and stale. The staff was nice and polite. I saw a few others orders for burger and they did not look good. Very thin meat patties. Also, you cannot order a combo burger plate, which is why we went with the fish and chips. White fish in a light batter, fresh and tasty.

Always love the seasoned fries. Go there every time I visit Catalina.

Not much flavor in the beef or cheese sauce a little flavor in the chili but that’s about it. While I was waiting on my food I noticed that they don’t wear any gloves handling the food ????‍I just wouldn’t eat here twice or at all. It was just okay. I’m full though??‍

Good food! Avocado toast in the morning on the island is awesone!!

Nice spot to pick up an easy lunch. Fish and Chips were great.
