The Avalon on the Beach - AVALON BEACH

Went with my wife for her birthday mid-week. Sadly not many people there as it was really good. Great fish and paella and great location right on the beach. Must be perfect at lunch time.

We went for Sunday lunch. Arrived at 2.40pm and were greeted by a lovely lady (the Manager). Too service, setting, food and all round experience with good prices. Will definitely be going back.

We were just driving back from Palm Beach and thought we would stop to have a quick drink. We were welcomed immediately and even though we didn't have a booking, the staff member found us a table and greeted us warmly. We were then told another table had become available which had a much nicer view and we were moved there. Well it was the most spectacular view so we decided to have a quick lunch as we were on a time limit. Wish we weren't as we could have stayed for hours. The food was beautiful, decor lovely, view amazing and staff were Friendly and so accommodating. Highly recommend.

Amazing view fantastic staff and great food. What more could you ask for. May have discovered my favourite place on the Northern Beaches for a lazy lunch.

Whilst the views are great, this restaurant could be so much more but hasn't hit the mark with any of the locals I know of since it opened. We've given it a few attempts to give them the benefit of the doubt but it never lives up to what it could be. Food is very average for the price in the restaurant as is the service. There also seems to be a very high turnover of staff with numerous managers since it opened.
