Bookoccino - AVALON BEACH

A great choice of books, ranging from latest novels, cooking, gardening, travel. A small cafe at the back of the shop and an area outside which is nice in the hot months.

We visited here for morning tea and coffee and to read weekend papers. Bought some books as well. Can have the tea/coffee in courtyard which was very peaceful. Repeated visit and never disappointed. Wonderfully friendly owner.

This is a real gem among independent bookshops. Always interesting stock with a cafe at the back which has international newspapers to read.

Bookoccino is a valued bookshop with Margaret and Roger knowing every book in their care and offering coffee and light meals whilst you read newspapers both locally and overseas in the small café out the back. The books have a wide range and the latest novels can be found along with coffee table books, manuals and children's books and games. The shop has an enormous reputation.

Not a particularly friendly staff, a bit pretentious. Many better places to eat in Avalon. The book store has some interesting titles but is crammed and hard to navigate without bumping into someone every two minutes.
