I posted a comment, ranked 3/5 during my release of this restaurant: The dishes are simple and delicious but the prices remain fairly high, counting about 25 euros for the main dish and 10 euros for dessert. The decoration is very original. The service leaves to be desired in relation to the high-end image that wants to return the restaurant. After this comment, the owner replied: Hello Augustin, I remember very well your table. How to tell you, there would be so much to say about your Saturday behavior ....it was obvious that you leave a comment here. I'm absolutely not surprised. Your image fits well with an invoice divided by 2 And pay 17 € without galantery if you see what I mean... well for you, Karine. I remember that the restaurant is family and that in this difficult time it would be much more appropriate to support our restaurateurs rather than easily and openly criticizing them on the Internet. So I decided to call the owner directly to try to understand his reaction, to try to have a productive discussion, to develop my comment to the oral and to inform him that I intend to delete my first review on Google given the pandemic family restaurant situation as well. I started the discussion on the phone in excitement; I didn't think my words touched that point. I then gave more details on the reasons for my disappointment during my visit and I finally emphasized again the very good points of this restaurant, especially the delicious cuisine after all, I had given the note of 3/5... . I also sought to understand the Google reaction of the owner. I had really come to this restaurant with my girlfriend, we were calm, chosen our dishes and paid off leaving there would be so much to say about your behavior. We were also very surprised to see that a restaurant can afford to judge the level of galantry of its customers. Unfortunately, I've never had any further explanations on this point, and anyway, I didn't ask for an apology. Disappointed from my exchange on the phone and advised by my entourage, I decided to maintain this mediocre critique that only engages my girlfriend and me. It is a critique that I really publish to regret during the Covid and in the direction of a family restaurant that seems to have made so many efforts and sacrifices for several decades... Free for you, readers / readers, to go to lunch / dinner in this restaurant. You will certainly not be disappointed by the quality of the dishes! For our part, we will not return...
This is not the first time I'm going to eat there, I was very happy to come back with impeccable service and very useful. As usual the dishes are succulent, the foods in the plate marry well together. So, because very satisfied, we will return without hesitation. Thank you Karine and Christophe.
Very good kitchen. Very nice welcome. Very good dishes: Lamb soup, encornet tentacles, Saint Jacques nuts, foie gras. Good desserts. A safe value from our region.
