Wanderlust Wine Co. - Austin

What a delightful place to enjoy wine with friends and family! We visited on the first night of our girls' trip and spent several hours there. We loved the freedom to sample as many wines as we wanted, and we happily ordered more of our favorites. We also grabbed some food from the truck outside, which was fantastic! My daughter has a gluten intolerance, so it was a real treat for her to enjoy pasta with us, especially since they offered a gluten-free option. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was both fun and cozy. We were fortunate enough to visit on a night featuring stand-up comedy, which added an enjoyable twist to our evening. I highly recommend Wanderlust Wines and would love to return on a future trip to Austin!

We made a reservation for my friend's birthday at Wanderlust. The staff called the day before to confirm our reservation, which we did. However, when we arrived 10 minutes early, we were told that they no longer accepted reservations and had already given our table for six to two other people. The staff suggested we either stand and wait for another table or find one ourselves. If they have stopped taking reservations, I hope others don’t encounter this issue, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location. The wine was excellent, and the band was fantastic, but their customer service leaves much to be desired.

I absolutely love Wanderlust! Wednesdays can get pretty hectic, but the deal they offer is unbeatable. The Heel of the Boot is very convenient, and the outdoor seating is nice and spacious.

It was a decent experience overall. The highlight was sampling a variety of drinks in smaller portions. However, the wine tasted a bit lackluster since it came from kegs. Prices were around $2 per ounce, depending on the drink. It could be a fun option for a date night, but I personally don’t feel inclined to return.
