Located at the Lakeway Resort, this restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. While the view may not be spectacular, the service and food more than make up for it. TR Restaurant may be a bit tricky to find, but it is worth the effort. Our party of three dined here for a birthday celebration and were delighted with our meals. The New York Strip Steak was perfectly cooked rare, the Salmon was proclaimed as the best ever tasted, and the Ribs were tender and flavorful. To top it off, the Birthday Boy received a complimentary piece of delicious flourless chocolate cake. The prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area, and we will definitely be returning.

We dined at the restaurant during our stay at the connected resort. The ambiance was pleasant, but the food left much to be desired. It lacked freshness and flavor. With improvements in the food quality, this establishment could easily earn a 4-star rating.

Very disappointed in the buffet for the Christmas Boat Parade. First not told it was a buffet when I called for reservations. Communication was poor when we arrived, told there was a Buffet or you could order on menu…well only the $40 buffet. They offered nothing really special or exciting, baked salmon or chicken on the so called buffet. The food was lukewarm to cold…. mini crab cakes cold, stuffed mushrooms cold, salmon cool, veggies cool. Grandson could not even eat the French fries. Thought the dessert would be good until there was a long hair in mine. To top it off there was a 15% service charge hidden in the bill and asking for gratuity as well when you served yourself. With a bill of $200 for 3 people and 2 drinks (glass of wine and a beer) we will NOT be frequenting this restaurant again. We understand now why very few partook in the buffet and very few people in the restaurant on a Saturday night with a Christmas Boat Parade right out the windows

There is a sofa with its back to the fireplace. Supposedly a remodel is about to take place but it was not welcoming at all; we felt as though waiting on us was an afterthought. The atmosphere of the bar is much more happy. Hope the remodeling goes well and that you use the fireplace and certainly don't back any furniture up to it! Food was pretty good but not outstanding.

My wife and I went there for our first time on a “date night. “. We sat outside at TR’s on a quiet patio with lake and pool views. Service was prompt and friendly. Our shrimp appetizer plate was quite good. There were multiple salad choices. The wine and cocktail list offered many options with good wine and price selections. Our steaks were extremely tender and delicious. The German chocolate torte was very good as well. Overall we were favorably impressed.
