The cheesecake bites I have tried from this hip 1960 's inspired decorated trailer have each been the best 'sweet trips ' I have ever been on. The variety of flavor choices, the size of each bite, and the visible passion of the bakers are all incredible and apparant.<br/ I always 'test ' a new food trailer by selecting either the house specialty (what they are known for) or the item most people would recognize and have tried elsewhere before (the NY Style in this case). If a trailer can get that 'basic ' item right or acceptable, then I trust them enough to adventure into the more exotic offerings. Let me tell you, I could procure more cheesecake bites fast enough after that first NY Style passed my lips!!! <br/ The super cool ladies at this spot have nailed the classic cheesecake, and they have also achieved success in a number of other flavors. So far my favorites have been the peanut butter cup, PBJ (grape AND strawberry jelly styles), the Shanna (chocolate mint) and their seasonal flavors of gingerbread and pumpkin pie.<br/ Thank you for placing a little piece of heaven on Rainey Street with your trailer, and for giving us all the chance to taste sweet joy!!!
Peace, Love Cheesecake!. I’ve had the pleasure of indulging in this amazing cheesecake since sometime before 2008! I may have indulged a little too much (if that’s possible , but I’m thinking a good litmus test may be when you have a flavor named in your honor! I love all things chocolate, and though they have plenty that fall under this category, the mint chocolate (aka “The Shanna” , is my all-time favorite! Followed closely by the PB J (can you imagine that as a cheesecake? It’s amazing! and the turtle. <br/ <br/ But don’t fret if you’re a non-chocolate fan or a cheesecake purest because their overall menu boasts a large variety of flavors and their version of the New York Style Cheesecake can go head-to-head in a cheesecake competition with the best of them! <br/ <br/ I know I’m doing a lot of braggin’ but you’d never get that from the two ladies who founded and run the place. Phyllis and Kimmie exude the qualities that decorate their 60s themed food truck...peace, love, and joy (well it actually says ‘cheesecake’ in place of ‘joy’ but is there really a difference?! ! <br/ <br/ Whether you’re lookin’ to kick-off your evening or to top-it-off, venturing to The Celia Jacobs Cheesecake Experience on 74th Rainey Street may be the best decision you make all evening! <br/ <br/ Their menu changes frequently, so be sure to follow them on social media to either try 'The Shanna ' or to find your own favorite flavor! ; <br/ <br/ [hidden link]<br/ <br/ [hidden link]
