Schnitzel Wagon - Austin

Alright alright alright. This place is amazing. Karl helped us make a choice on which plate to get, so grateful he talked us into the Hunter Sauce schnitzel! We also got a side of potato salad. This schnitzel is crispy and tender, paired with the mushroom sauce, it tastes so good! The spätzle tastes like grandma made it at home, like a soft and thin dumpling. Our side salad did not last long either it was very tasty and I believe it is a creamy dill dressing. Potato salad had a tangy taste, I think dill made an appearance in that side as well. I was pleasantly surprised with this meal. I’ve had many different variations of schnitzel and spätzle, this tasted very rustic and homemade. I can’t wait to go back!

Terrific owners and terrific food! My wife grew up in Cincinnati Zinzinnati! and three of her grandparents are German. The food they serve is authentic. We had the schnitzel #3 and a bratwurst sandwich. Everything was great. Find them, have a great conversation, eat the food, and tell a friend. We will be seeing them again at the Barking Armadillo!

Found this truck outside of the Barking Armidillo Brewery and the schnitzel sandwich was perfect. Super quick too!

This was my first experience with German or Austrian cuisine. I had the number 3, which had a pork schnitzel with a mushroom sauce, salad, and buttered spaetzle. Wunderbar!

1st time trying German/Czech food. Got the #3. Breaded pork went great with the mushroom sauce. Sides had lots of flavor too. Went to HEB and got some Czech beer Pilsner Urquell and made it even more authentic. I'll be buying again if I see that friendly couple's food truck in my neighborhood. So glad I got to try something new.
