My drink was quite weak, but eating was super and cheap. really good salsa.

So I drove s. lamar down to see live music to find a place to get Mexican food. from the corner of my eye I see a quite simple looking building, but with some cars on the parking lot. because I was a good sign, I decided to turn on. sandy was the sole worker in the ground floor and managed about five tables. I mentioned that I was a first timer. she left a menu, chips and salsa, just say they will love our award-winning salsa when I penetrated the menu, I took my first bite of chips/salsa and was immediately impressed. the chips were hot, fresh and crisp, while the salsa was a perfect mix of short-lived heat and seasoning; some of the best salsa I've ever had. I ordered the 1816 margarita (1816 is her street address: consisting of a very simple mix of 1800 reposado tequila, limette juice and grand marnier. absolutely fantastic. as a fan of chicken enchiladas verdes with a green tomatillo sauce, I noticed a similar enchilada with a pipic sauce from pumpkin seeds. from curiosity I asked sandy about a taste and she brought something out of a salsa cup. very good and nothing I had before. it was also very good with the chips. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with pipianic sauce, roasted bean and rice. the enchiladas were delish, the bores were perfect and the rice was fresh and damp and then there was flan. yum. sometimes they simply accidentally make the right turn to the right time and find them a hidden gem while making a new friend. I'm stuck in the Tex-Mex round (sty but still a rut) and it was nice to have something more traditional and interior Mexican. highly recommended. to soon, sandy!

I went through this restaurant several times, but one day I noticed it and was intrigued. my wife and I went to the night, and will surely go with friends in the future. great eating, great price and an ambiente that try to create several restaurants, but always feels fake. this place is organic (which means that it does not try to be something that it is not. but also, I'm pretty sure they have organic food options as well

Always super yummy. I’m from Chicago but was visiting a friend. My 3rd time here. Caldo was my dish.
