Salvation Pizza - Austin

We were staying in The Domain for our wedding weekend and needed a place to have our rehearsal dinner the night before. I emailed Theresa and she immediately got back to me; super happy to accommodate us. My brother lives in Austin and highly recommended Salvation Pizza. Theresa scheduled a call with us and we planned out a few appetizers, salads and pizzas for our guests. The night of the dinner, we arrived and Jess, our server, immediately took us to our table and started drinks. Our apps were out when we received our drinks! We had the best evening--great drinks, service and food. Jess and Theresa worked so hard to make us feel welcome and relaxed during, what could have been, a stressful night. Thank you Theresa, Jess, and everyone who made our rehearsal dinner so easy and totally delicious! All of our guests raved over the food and excellent service! We will be back and cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you!

The location of the restaurant is super convenient if you are drinking at the Rainey Street bars and looking for a quick eat option. The sizes of the pizzas are adequate. I will say I didn’t personally like the extra spices they add to it but, that doesn’t mean everyone will feel that way. They offer a great game day ambiance with TVs inside. The cleanliness was great. The customer service was awesome. It looked like they were severity understaffed so please be kind.

My wife and I wanted some pizza but not a whole pizza. They do it by the slice and it was pretty good! Slice is pretty expensive for me, I think it was around $7.00. But the slice is big! The main reason they are getting five stars is because of the woman who was working. She seemed to be the only one besides the kitchen staff and she was probably the sweetest server/hostess/bartender we’d ever met. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. But hopefully she knows who she is.

Hudson is amazing! Very helpful and compassionate. My friend got drugged at a bar nearby, Hudson helped us seek safe shelter, water, and great food while we waited for the ambulance to pick up my friend she is okay). Hudson is always amazing and the food is always awesome! Highly recommend!
