Saffron - Austin

Although I've only been here for the buffet, the food was great and the staff friendly and willing to answer any questions. Unlike a lot of Indian restaurants, the food was not over spiced or salty. Their dishes were slightly different from other restaurants' dishes and overall better. I can't wait to come back and try their Nepali dishes and their desserts.

Great food and service with a lot of vegetarian options. BYOB but beer store is 100 feet down sidewalk. Nice waiter and manager.

Went there for the first time yesterday over dinner service and it was great. Probably one of the top two Indian food places in Austin. The service was great and friendly, and the food was exceptional.
