Ronnie's Real Food - Austin

A hidden jewel! My wife and I were often here and it's always a pleasure. Yesterday evening Salmon was perfect with Tarragon-Common Wine Sauce. The atmosphere is a beautiful mix of homely and elegant, and the Hill Country environment is simply beautiful.

That was a wonderful evening. This was a planned event and Ronnie worked with us on the menu for our evening. We had serious food restrictions and he bleeded away with the menu he showed up with. Absolutely stunning and not cheap, certainly a really good value for the price. I would definitely think it would come back here for future little meetings. Fantastic local secret place.

Never hear from this unknown gem until a friend of a friend suggested. In forests of Cuernavaca area (Commons Ford), in a house like surroundings with windows around. Not overcrowded or loud. An attentive, insurgent service by Ronnie himself, just another couple, felt like a private dinner party. Food was perfect, and about half what it should be in town. We're coming back!

Really liked this place! A small, warm venue, terrific creative food serve and friendly service. Very different.
