A $200.00 tip was added here without my permission (on a $14.00 order). Swimming your own card and make sure you get a reception! Also note that you are running through all options on the tablet and do not leave the tip option up. I'm all for drinking, but an almost 1400% tip was not in the cards for this night. I follow something positive, the food was great, that wasn't the problem. I had first reached my credit card company and the owners of Quezzas at the same time. American Express finally decided that they held it for a valid fee because I told them I actually made a purchase at that time. They take care of the swallow, not what comes after it. If you do not push the card yourself and add (or reject) your own tip, everything can be added and you will be liable. One of the owners of Quezzas DID respond very quickly to me and let me know that he is investigating and reimbursing great! He was also very professional/cordial/willing to help, but ultimately not the situation, even after they had said, and after three months from Hin and Her by email. He first said because I disputed with AMEX that he had to provide space (the payment processor) documents and had to go through a waiting period before he could refund me. That's fair, but we're over every waiting period. He also said that his payment processor told him it was refunded, but I confirmed with American Express that it was not (as an additional step because I knew for a fact that I did not receive any refund for any of my statements since the incident). I have given them more than enough opportunity to correct this situation, but unfortunately I can only write this review at this point and hope others experience the same. I wrote off the money at this point, but I want to be sure that people are aware when they eat here. From today on, I get a jump when I get by email. Not sure if it?re with email server problems or if I was blocked.
Best Mexican pizza I had! And super nice guy with the truck. Next time I'm in Austin, this is my first stop!
Pizza was okay. The meat lovers were decent, but the pepperoni pizza was definitely missing. Too much cheese and not enough dough to cut the saltiness of everything.
I ordered the pepperoni pizza and found it to be very tasty. The crust reminds me of a better version of the common thin crusts found elsewhere. Service was great and fastest of all other Rainey St food options I?ve tested. I visited during off peak hours and found the location to be quite cozy. Pricing is fair. Pizza sauce was delicious.
