Ola Poke - Austin

This was my second visit, and once again, they did not disappoint. For today’s meal, I chose the ahi and tuna poke bowl, which had a brown rice base topped with pineapple, edamame, crab meat, spring salad mix, furikake, and crunchy deep-fried onions. I also enjoyed spam and egg musubi along with miso soup. Can you say "kanak attack"? Haha! Everything was so delicious! This combination reminds me of what my friends and I would typically get before heading to Waikiki beach back home in Hawaii. I completely agree with the poster on the wall: this place is better than PokePoke in South Austin. Thanks to Ola Poke, I’ve discovered another true piece of home away from home!

I discovered this restaurant's Facebook page in my News Feed a few days ago, and I'm so glad I did! I visited today with my father for their grand opening. I ordered bibimbap, and he chose a hibachi steak. Both dishes were fantastic! My dad, a huge steak enthusiast, was particularly pleased with his meal; he couldn't stop raving about how it was a high-quality ribeye cooked just the way he likes it. The chef even came over to chat with us after our meal, which was a nice touch. We’re excited to bring more friends here and try their poke bowls and other offerings. Just a quick tip: when you enter, be sure to grab a small black menu so you can see the entire menu, as not everything is displayed on the monitors behind the counter. The atmosphere is relaxed, and most items are served in takeout containers or can be easily packed, making it an excellent spot for a quick lunch or meal.

I absolutely love the create-your-own poke bowl! It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth a visit. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and there are so many options to choose from. This has quickly become my new favorite spot!

Came here today with a dear friend who I hadn't seen in a while. She raved about the food and I was eager to try. I was NOT disappointed! It was amazing! The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly! The poke bowl was everything I could have asked for in a Hawaiian dish! I will certainly be back!

This place is definitely worth a try! We got two delicious poke bowls. All ingredients were fresh and the sauces are on point. Don't forget the dumplings! We'll be going back ASAP!
