I ended up inside at the bar, but I needed to kill some time waiting on my wife to finish some work stuff nearby (she works for a wine supplier). It turned out to be a great decision--had a nice pepporoni pizza, thin crust, but chewy, neopolitan-like...and a glass of Italian wine, as well as a Peroni (on tap, no less). Bartender was super nice...he was into classic literature and I think his parents were from Italy if I recall. Great conversationalist and always nice to encounter such when you're on your own. 5 stars is an easy give...and I'll be back with my wife to try some of the dishes that aren't pizza as they all looked great as they went by me from the kitchen yo the patio.
Remarkable food, service, and wine! We put ourselves on the wait list around 8:30pm in hopes of getting a table before they closed (party of 4) on Saturday night…downtown…yes I know, very ambitious of us. The gentleman at the front was very kind and was able to squeeze us in earlier than expected. Three of us order the cacio e pepe pictured and it was damn delicious! The wine selection was well put together great variety. My wife ordered a pizza which was also top notch (I ate her leftovers the next day everything is fine, she wasn’t too mad) Pro tips: • If you’re driving, Austin City Hall Parking garage a block over is only $10 • If you’re quoted a lengthy wait time, bounce across the street to Toy Joy fun to peruse all the toys and candy selection.
Authentic Italiano! Pizza was very tasty, love their wine selection. If you love a great white, try the Grillo from Sicily, yum, yum, yum!
We enjoyed lunch during a Saturday, the service was excellent, prompt and every server that came to our table was very friendly. The appetizers were so good that we could finish all 3 of them between the 4 of us! The main course was amazing, apparently I never had fresh pasta before, shame on me!, as it had a great taste and the sauce was just as good! We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
What a lucky thing in our trip to Austin. We ended up being able to come for happy hour and ordered a few items from their happy hour menu. The bruschetta trio was very nice, but I wish it was more widespread from this artichoke because it turned out to be our favorite of the three. The marinated olives are a can not measure they are all delicious and the aroma was perfect. We also got the cured beef rolls that were very tasty, although they had used a little more goat cheese. A perfect light dinner with a carafe from Sangria.
