Mezzeme - Austin

I've only been once, but I promise that I'll provide an update once I've been back 20 more times (and I will be back). It's an unassuming setting, pleasant but with an upscale fast food atmosphere. This is not, I assure you, fast food: yes, the service was prompt, but the food is very good and not like that at all. Even the plain-looking white rice is really good. Fascinating appetizers, and salad, heck the whole menu is interesting and I basically wanted everything. The marinated and roasted chicken was extremely good, and my lunch partner said the same of his Doner. Super-nice service.

Mezze is a great example of Mediterranean-Turkish cuisine in Austin. The atmosphere, the food, and the desserts are outstanding. Employees are also extremely courteous. I would recommend it.Food: 5/5

I had a late dinner on a Friday night with 2 friends after yoga in the same pretty plaza. The food was authentic delicious reminded me of my travels to Turkey. Great for vegans meat lovers all. The lovely owner came to our table to say hello he was utterly warm generous. The staff are also all very welcoming thoughtful. The restaurant was crowded but the service was fast. The prices are so reasonable the portions are generous. The complimentary pita dip are both so yummy too. There was a cute dog show on the tv. They close later than other restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to bring our husbands next time.

Amazing! This was our first time coming here and will definitely be back, the truffle feta fries were to die for and I love that they bring out a pita starter before your meal. The shrimp was so flavorful on my salad and the lamb bayti was incredible! The staff was friendly and can’t wait to come back again and try more things on the menu!

We got Chick me out , no little lambs(forgot the name) both came with rice and you get Harissa sauce in Lamb while garlic yogurt with Chicken. Both were really delicious. We also got Baklava for the dessert and it is one of the most balanced dessert I have had in a while.Also their Adana wrap is amazing as well.Big thumbs up!!
