Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Austin

My dad, sister, and I drove up to Menchie's for a sweet treat. I mean you can't go wrong with diy frozen yogurt. It was perfect and hit the spot!

I love this Steiner Ranch Menchies location! We visit regularly and really enjoy the staff and cleanliness. I have seen the teenagers who work here wiping the yogurt machine handles disinfecting tables which we really appreciate. Favorite flavors are all of the seasonal ones, especially Peppermint Bark! Yum!

The people who own Menchie's are wonderful. In Sept 2021, my nephew was supposed to have his 9 yr old bday party. His mom became ill the party was canceled 1 day in advance. She could not make it out to pick up anything for him she had fever, chills, etc. I called the local Menchi's that I take him his sister to when I am at their home. I shared the story with the wonderful woman who answered the phone asked her could I possibly order one of their cakes have it delivered. They normally do not deliver cakes...but....she was so kind said she would take it to them for me. I could not go myself because my mom was very ill we were caring for her with hospice at our home. It was a very difficult time for our family but we did not want a little soon to be 9 yr old boy to have an awful birthday. Well, he did not !! Menchies totally went above beyond. They delivered a fabulous cake to him and completely made his day. He called me when the cake was delivered and was so happy. His smile via FaceTime was all I needed to see to know how happy this made him. He LOVES MENCHIE'S and this was truly the best birthday cake he said he has ever had. At the end of the phone call that day I asked the lady if I could speak to her supervisor....well, she told me it was her. Actually, she is the owner! What was so wonderful about all of this was she ran this to them in between her workday and taking her own child to a sports practice....so, she really went out of her way to make a birthday very special for a little boy. We love this place and will always take the kids there. By the way, we grown ups love Menchie's too. Their frozen yogurt is delicious. The people at this location in the Steiner Ranch area where we go are always very nice and friendly. Plus, the place is clean. Thank you again Menchie's at Steiner Ranch. God bless you all. You truly restored my faith in humanity.
