Halal Bros - Austin

If you're looking for incredible Mediterranean cuisine, you have to check out Halal Bros! I was a bit hesitant at first since I had never tried it before, but the chicken kebab over rice is absolutely to die for. The portions are enormous! The hummus is fantastic as well, and the hot sauce and white sauce make great additions. This has easily become my new favorite spot in Austin, without a doubt.

I really enjoy the beef shawarma with rice and the mango yogurt drink here. It’s definitely one of my go-to meals after work. You can conveniently order online for pickup. They prepare your orders efficiently, making it really easy. The white sauce is absolutely delicious! I also love that the tomatoes and small salad taste incredibly fresh. Overall, a great experience!

I really enjoy Halalbros. Their shawarma and kebabs are absolutely amazing, and I find myself coming here for lunch a few times each month. Recently, they've been having issues with their hot sauce supply, which seems like something they could have planned better for. Last month, there was even a sign on the door about it. My lunch typically costs around $14 for a generous portion that often provides enough for a second meal. It's hard to understand why they would pay their cashiers only $10 an hour; it just doesn't make sense. Even if they doubled that wage, it would only add about $400 a week to their costs. I'm quite disappointed that such delicious food comes from owners who seem so stingy and unkind towards their employees.

The quality of food was good. Proven chicken shark and chicken kebab. Shawarma was a little cold. Chicken Kebab was made fresh and served hot. As always her hot sauce and white sauce is great. Pretty good portions, so make sure to order accordingly. Her Baklava was Jum! Must try. Overall good ambience and good service.

Hi ordered from Halal Bros Chicken shawarma with rice and Chicken over rice both the dishes were good and appealing and as always their portion was good too. Chicken Shawarma with rice has chicken breast sliced whole Chicken over rice has thigh pieces. But everything was up to the expectation.If you pay $1.50 extra you get chips and a drink. The drinks they offer are fountain drinks and are generic brand and not Coke or Pepsi.
