The pizza from this corner store is decent, but I must say, I had frozen pizza the day before that was actually better. They do have an old-school pizza oven and they prepare and toss the dough, which is a nice touch.

This place has some of the most delicious, flavorful pizza you'll find anywhere! The service is friendly, and there are plenty of shaded outdoor tables to enjoy your meal. There's also a sandwich shop right next door to Giovanni's if you're in the mood for a snack. I do recommend adding a business sign outside, though; I wouldn't have known about this pizza place without using Google Maps!

Don't be deceived by the location—Giovanni's serves the best pizza in the South Lamar area. The crust is light, fluffy, and crispy, with a touch of sourdough flavor.
