Garden Spot Cafe Catering - Austin

It's a charming little place with quite a nice variety on the menu. Today, I tried the pastrami Reuben on Jewish rye and a large Frito Pie. The Reuben had a great texture and a lovely balance of savory and tangy flavors. The Frito Pie was hearty and prepared in the classic thick-sauced Texas style.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant, especially with their breakfast tacos, which come with some amazing salsa—definitely a must-try! The coffee was great as well. The sandwiches were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Overall, it's a fantastic place. They even offer club cards for regular customers!

I may be in the minority with my opinion, but while this restaurant is decent, I never feel particularly excited to go there. They offer a wide variety, so I can always find something to eat, and it’s usually quite good, but never outstanding. I've tried many different sandwiches, yet I’ve never craved anything from here. That said, it’s not a bad option for lunch when you want a change from your usual choices. The seating area is a bit cramped, and the wait is often longer than you'd expect, but these are relatively minor issues. I would definitely recommend checking it out at least once (and probably more) if you’re in the mood for a sandwich.

My friend and I love this little lunch spot, good ingredients and yummy sandwiches. I had the chili today and it was great! Good veggie options as well. Very nice people working there, they went out of their way to make our experience better. Will continue coming back to support this local restaurant.

Garden Spot Cafe has incredible customer service and amazing food. The majority of the stuff is made in-house, and as a person who is usually left unsatisfied with vegetarian dishes, I am in LOVE with their veggie sandwich. I think the pricing is fair, too, and I am a regular customer of theirs. Definitely try it out! It may become your favorite go-to spot as it is mine and my coworkers.
