Fire Bowl Cafe - Austin

We took a quick lunch here on Saturday afternoon. restaurant was clean, service was fast, eating came hot and ready to eat. I had the sesame chicken with fried rice and my wife had orange chicken with vermicelli noodles. the sesam huh and orange huh were well spiced, good taste, but we were disappointed in the fried rice that seemed more like white rice than fried rice. I even asked about it because color and taste was too easy. as well, the vermicelli was just noodles without seasonal? underwhelmed with the sides. in comparison to the fire bowl in round rice, fried rice was much better seasoned there and better taste and the thicker noodles they do with the teriyaki beef or chicken plate with earlyvenlingsggies was a much better dish. the sesame chicken dish would not do as well as its Teriyaki option again. also the round rock location has a black leaf hot tee option that was great but not available at this place. I've got the ginger twist tea.

I love the food here. This has replaced Pei Wei for me. Very good quality. Wish they had more diverse choices but the food is hot, yummy and well fried. Love their pineapple rice and egg rolls

Services was great food came quick tasted good. They need to think about waste, get a compost bin change the utensils. Much Appreciated

Holy cow that was a terrific bowl. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music was just right, and the staff we warm and kind. Has a great first experience today, I wish I was local to this area so I could dine here more

It's been over a decade since I've been to FBC it used to be local and had been several times before. I'm rarely on the south side of town, but was recently and figured I'd pop in for a reminisce. Well, it wasn't as good as I'd remembered it. It was okay ... the orange chicken was nothing special it wasn't great grade chicken. $15 for that plus soda. Half was tossed in the trash. It'll be another decade before I'll be back.
