Alta's Café - Austin

The chicken panini was to die for! Such an Austin place!

I found this little gem by accident. I had just arrived at a Beauty and Hair industry conference in the Convention Center and took a walk looking for coffee before I got started. I'm an anywhere but Starbucks kinda gal, so I picked a pin on the map my GPS provided me and headed down Trinity St. Wow. Lucky me. Such a lovely place to start the morning. Right on the river. What made it kismet is they had on special an iced coffee with chicory called NOLA. Just my thing, as I'm in town from NO,LA. Delicious. I've shared my experience with all my friends here in Austin. Austin has a lot of choices, Alta´s Cafe is a wonderful site to relax and enjoy the view. We went for a quick Sunday coffee and ended up trying the menu. Wonderful experience!
